Founded by FEI 2 Star Eventer, trainer and coach, Elena Penney, and reputable Equine Sports Massage Therapist & bodyworker, Emma Henshall.

Elena Penney
Elena is a FEI 2* Eventer with over 10 years experience in riding and training horses of all different calibres.
Whether it is OTTB’s, Welsh Ponies or Clydesdales, she is confident and passionate about helping any horse and rider. She has a background of straight dressage before moving to the eventing scene.
Elena has a passion for ensuring horses have correct fundamentals and a positive approach to working. Elena not only loves working with horses, she enjoys communicating with people and riders of all ages and experience.

Elena Penney
Elena is a FEI 2* Eventer with over 10 years experience in riding and training horses of all different calibres.

Emma Henshall
Sports Massage Therapist | Red Light Therapist
Emma is a qualified equine sports massage therapist and Photonic red light therapist. She is also the founder of Equicare Sports Therapies & Bodywork. Emma graduated from Equestricare Education Centre with a certification in Equine Sports Massage Therapy and Photonic red light therapy in 2022.
She has extensive experience working primarily with performance horses however also loves working with horses and ponies of all types! Emma has gained experience with a reputable equine veterinarian and equine sports massage therapist and has an interest in all aspects of equine sports massage and myofascial release modalities.
While her focus is sports massage and bodywork in the muscular system, Emma aims to get a comprehensive picture of the horse through observation and consultation with you as the owner/rider. Her studies so far have enabled Emma to offer the following manual therapies: sports, remedial and massage therapy, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, joint mobilisations, craniosacral therapy, acupressure, and equine pilates.
